Please do not diss windows 8, It works completely fine with Start Is Back, and as longs you don't pull out your rigs power cable (while shutting down) instead of something else, a silly 40KB boot file will not disappear and force you to reinstall windows 8.

So I had to use CMD to create an ad-hoc network to change my printers settings etc.
Little did I know, that windows 8 doesn't have Ad-hoc in the networking settings page or whatever you want to call it.
So I had to reconfigure my printer and reinstall the drivers (it's quite old but works with windows 8 surprisingly). Long story short, my stupid router gave an android phone the same IP as a printer, my printer only having static IP settings, went a bit stupid.
